Wild Silk – silk harvested from silkworms that grow in the wild and eat a diet of whatever plant food is available to them. The natural color of wild silk ranges from a light ivory to a darker tan. It is less expensive than cultivated silk and not as durable. Although it is a good choice for many applications it is not the best choice for silk bedding because it is not as durable as cultivated silk.
Tussah Silk – a type of wild silk that typically comes from India or China with the India silk typically has more lusters to it.
Thrown or Reeled Silk – a process done by hand to unwind the silk filaments from the cocoon. Most thrown or reeled silk is cultivated silk.

All the colors can be your options for your wedding dress, not only white, spread your envision, and have your selection. Let’s listen to what the famous designer said.
Designer wedding dresses can be just considered as a given, but it doesn’t have to be. We asked Carol McD. Wallace, author of All Dressed in White: the Irresistible Rise of the American Wedding (Penguin Original, 2004), for a quick history lesson. She advises that we don’t need to worry about following in the tradition of Queen Victoria. “The white informal wedding gowns for every bride are really a post-World War II phenomenon. Before that, lots of girls would invest in a simple wedding dress they could wear again,” she says. “In pioneer America, that often meant black, brightened up with some white lace or artificial orange blossoms; during World War II, brides often wore a pretty suit with a corsage.” Wallace also believes that you shouldn’t worry too much about the symbolic value of white.” Lots of virgin brides have worn colors and we see lots of brides with children wearing white, so I think the color issue is up for grabs. If you feel fabulous in green or any other colors, then go for it!” We wholeheartedly agree, and so do wedding dress designers! Big names like Amsale and Ely Saab have been sending bolder and brighter hues down the runway in recent years, so don’t be surprised if you see more brides coming over to color in the future.
Champagne is a beautiful color as a fashion, do you like it?

You may feel your twin size silk sheets too delicate and difficult to care for. If you have so much concern, why not take some smaller ones- silk satin pillowcases. Tiny things, great function!
Silk is the strongest of natural fibers, most often washable for easy care and resilient for long sleep on. Silk is breathable, naturally hypoallergenic, absorbs moisture, reduces humidity, and is surprisingly cool in the summer, and remarkably warm in the winter. Silk retains its shape, drapes and forms well, and has an unmistaken sheen and feel, surprisingly; a silk pillow case will make your hair shinier, your face less wrinkles and you will look younger then ever!

Many of you still puzzled about the satin bed linens term, and as blow, we introduce them to you!
Momme Weight – this refers to the weight of a piece of silk fabric and in a standard measurement for silk. Momme weight calculates the weight of a piece of silk that is a standard 100 yards long and 45 inches wide. The weight of the piece of fabric that size is its momme weight. A piece of silk weighing 12 pounds has a momme weight of 12. When purchasing silk bedding look for a momme weight of 12 or higher.
Cultivated Silk - silk that is harvested from worms raised in captivity. Cultivated silk is the highest quality silk because great care is taken to ensure the silk filament threads harvested are not broken resulting in long and durable silk thread that is very strong – the strongest natural fiber in the world.
Mulberry Silk – the highest quality silk available. It comes from silkworms produced from the Bombyx mori moth. The silkworms are fed an exclusive diet of mulberry leaves. The resulting silk that is harvested is of a uniform light color, is rounder than wild silk, more uniform in size than wild silk, and finer than wild silk.

If determine to lose weight, and even time is closer, how to decide the size of your wedding dresses? Whether to have to buy a size that fits your figure now or get a style that would flatter your figure after you lose weight?
Undoubtedly, it is right that it does take a while for Demetrio’s bridal gowns to arrive in the store once it’s ordered. So if you want to go that route, you should start thinking about buying colorful wedding gowns as soon as possible (you’ll need time for alterations too). Of course your other option is to wait until a month before the wedding and to buy discount bridal gowns online off the rack at one of those discount stores or at a department store, but then you risk not finding the designer wedding dresses you really want.
To address a larger concern though, making your wedding date the deadline to lose a certain number of pounds may not be the best idea. That just puts extra pressure on you during the already stressful planning period. You shouldn’t stop eating healthfully and exercising. But keep in mind the fact that you’re marrying the man you love, and he loves you for you — not for your weight! Simply decide whether you want inexpensive wedding dresses that are going to take a few months to order, or you’re comfortable waiting until the eleventh hour.
Take it easy, you are the bride, not weight, he will not mind, right?

Wrinkles on silk bedding or clothes are inevitable whatever with hand-wash or machine-wash. Silk has a resistance to creasing or wrinkling, most will smooth out naturally. If ironing should become necessary, press the damp bed sheet silk on the reverse side with an iron set on low. Silk charmeuse requires a cool iron to bring back sheen. This is a special care to silk sheet, so please refer to specific care instructions on each label. That will be the most accurate specifications.

Many of the purchasers may have a passion for the seamless silk bedding not only for its perfect visual feeling but also considering it as a high quality one. However, is that true? And what, after all, is seamless silk bedding?
Like its name suggests seamless silk is bedding that does not have a center seam or two off center side seams. The standard width of pure silk is 45 inches which means silk blankets any bigger than twin size is going to have a seam in it. That seam is either directly down the center which is best for people who sleep on the side of their bed and not right in the middle of it; or two off center side seams which is better for people who do sleep in the middle of their bed. This prevents a person from having to lay on a seam or having a seam mar the smoothness of the silk comforter they are covered with.
And one thing needs to be mentioned that much of the seamless available on the market is not natural silk. It is a blend or a knit of silk and something else and is of a lesser quality, so do choose carefully

Although seamless silk linen does not represent the high quality, but there still some real good ones with seamless. How to pick them out! First, check the momme weight!
Look for a momme weight between 16 and 19, although you can have a momme weight (mm) as low as 12 and still be purchase a quality product. The higher the momme number the heavier that piece of fabric is and the more silk that was used in the construction of that piece of fabric. Any silk bed sheets, whether it is made from mulberry silk or a more affordable wild silk that has a momme weight of fewer than 12 is not going to be durable and last a long time. You will save money initially but over the long term purchasing low quality sheets will cost you more than if you would have purchased a high quality set of sheets right away. This is because you will need to continue to replace those lower quality sheets at a far faster rate than high quality silk filled duvet which will last a long time if cared for properly and according to manufacturer’s instructions.
As it is said, momme weight is the common measurement for all silk!
